You daily
skin care routine must include protection of your skin from sun. Most of the UV light from the sun falls in two main wavelength bands: UVA & UVB. The UVA rays which travel far into the skin are responsible for
ageing the skin, starting free radical activity, cancers and certain skin sensitive reactions. However, stronger are the UVB rays that are responsible for burning and browning the skin by triggering the
pigment melanin and also causing skin cancer.
Even if initially you do not understand the damage caused by excessive sunlight, afterwards you do realize its evil effects like premature ageing of the skin. Your skin can also be damaged by pollution, dramatic temperature changes and harsh detergents.
