Ingredients Used for Herbal Pineapple- Yoghurt Nail Soak
Pineapple Juice: 2 Tablespoons (30 ml)
Plain Yoghurt: 2 Tablespoons (30 ml)
Apple Cider Vinegar: ½ Teaspoon (2.5 ml)
Olive Oil: 1 Teaspoon (5ml)
Pineapple juice looks after the nail with its two main components namely bromelain and alphahydroxyl acids. Bromelain reduces the soreness and pain in the nails if any while and alphahydroxyl acids removes the dead skin cells. Pineapple being rich in anti-oxidant secures the nails and entire body skin with the attack of free radicals. Its scientific name is Ananas Comosus.
Yogurt is citric in nature. It fulfills the nutritive requirement of the nail and has the natural cooling effect on the skin. It is rich source of antifungal and antibacterial properties.
Apple Cider Vinegar is a natural bacteria-fighting agent hence safeguards the nails from all sorts of infections and allergies. It regulates the pH level of skin that helps in abolishing the bacteria in and around nail. It contains many vital skin nutritive elements. In scientific terms it is known as Acetic Acid.
Olive Oil provides the shine and gleam to the nails as well as enhances the overall growth of the nail. It strengthens the brittle nails. Vitamin E present in the oil nourishes the nail. This oil restores the lost moisture and helps to soften the cuticles. In this way the nails are well moisturized and get the desirable shine. Scientifically it is known as Olea Europaea.
Method to Prepare the Herbal Nail Care Pack
In a bowl pour the fresh or canned pineapple juice and yogurt. Whip it nicely with the fork. Next add apple cider vinegar and olive oil. Once again whip it to make the mixture creamy.
Application Way to Use the Pineapple –Yogurt Nail Pack
Immerse the fingers in the bowl and allow it to be in the mixture for 5 minutes. Next, give a gentle massage to all fingers and even the hands/feet. Leave it on the skin for another 5 minutes. Then clean it off with lukewarm water and pat dry with a soft cotton cloth.
Use this pineapple-yogurt nail soak twice in a month. This little nail care shall bring in lot of difference in the growth and maintenance of healthy nails!
